Win over £500 worth of brilliant books for Christmas

To have a loving and peaceful Christmas with all my family. Every year I just pray that everyone will be there for another Christmas together, things happen so quickly and change so much, you just don't know what lies ahead. So that is my special wish.

I've always asked for well behaved children - for as long as I can remember!! I don't really want any possessions. Instead I love going out to the theatre and making a nice day of it - that again this year, please.

I hope we have a good Christmas, with our son from other side of world visiting. It will be bittersweet, as last Christmas here. Going separate ways early next year. So I wish for a happy, healthy and contented 2017 for us all.

My list is as follows, so Santa hope your listening or (reading)

1. A coat from Joules, love them ALL.
2. Perfume - Any that I love.
3. Slippers - I get through them like you would not believe.
4. Chocolates - Goes without saying.

A granite pestle and mortar from Lakeland! I saw it and wanted it. Why? No idea! It was just one of those love at first sight things! Too expensive to buy on a whim but as a gift... perfect!

New clothes!
(I've recently lost nearly 5 stone and I am in dire need)

What I'd really love is to have my Dad back with us, but as that's not possible a health new grandson who is due at Christmas.

The wish that all the people I hold dear have good health, happiness, and the ability to love and be loved, and, in addition, for my GC, the chance to attain their full potential and to live in a world that cherishes young( and old)!

No objects, just wonderful human beings....and some fun adventures and discoveries.

Oh...and a massage, please!

I would love to have a traditional Christmas dinner round the table with my family and have lots of laughter and a peaceful day

I have had a really bad year health wise, the worst for a long time, but a rainbow of happiness was the birth of our new little grandson. I don't need anything for Christmas, I've got everything I want - If I have to say something - That there will be no homeless people this christmas.

My wish is that someone else will plan,prepare,shop for and cook my Christmas lunch for me and that l can enjoy having the DH,DD1&2, their husbands and all 4DGC round me instead of worrying so much about it.

My Christmas wish list would be
A hot chocolate with a nip of brandy,
candles (not scented ones
New pjs
and a new book

Love to see all the family over Christmas and New Year. For bombings to cease in Syria or wherever so that families there have some respite. A glass or two of red wine and some good books

Would want my Son to find a job and a kindle Fire

A new bike need to lose a few pounds

I'm hoping some one gets me a new hairdryer

To have everyone together in the same house as difficult as that would be!

I would love to have a healthy Christmas for my family. My husband has dementia, my daughter has had cancer and is again in hospital because a minor procedure went wrong in our local hospital and was transferred forty miles away to a a county hospital. I could go on but in spite of everything we are a happy family but would love one day without problems. I would love to win this fabulous prize as I am practically addicted to the printed word and a wonderful distraction from everyday life.
