It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page

I'd love a new purse as mine is radically falling apart and I've lost £3, a credit card and a return bus ticket! I'm also hoping for a better year in 2017, as 2016 seems to have been so many sera le for lots of reasons! May it be happy, peaceful, and full of lovely, life affirming moments!

What I want is Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all Men Women and Children but I'll settle for a quiet family Christmas when no one gets the Flu for a change.

Top of my Christmas wish list is that my husband, having had two bouts of cancer, and being told that it's likely to come back again, will live to see many more Christmas's.

My list this year consists of good health and recovery for me as I am having an operation in December. I would also like to buy something wonderful for my hubby as he has been great all through my illness but money is tight as I am not working at the moment. Happiness and Good Health to everyone.
