It's that time of year again - and the launch of our Best reads for Christmas. Over £500 of fantastic books, fiction and non-fiction, great gift ideas for family and friends (and yourself - goes without saying)

Aaaaand - one very lucky person can win all the books featured on the page. To enter simply tell us what's on your Christmas wish list (it can be absolutely anything)

We will be picking a winner at random on 14 December - more details on the page

Thank you Gransnet. What a lovely surprise. Books are a real love of mine but I'm sure my family will love the prize too. They will be well read.

Grannyknot

I wonder whether GNHQ read all these posts, or do they just pull a name out of a hat? Please reply if you do.

On my wish list is that you split or share a prize like this large bundle of books and have three Christmas winners grin.

Just to say yes, we do read all the posts (partly to make sure they are eligible for the draw - partly because it's lovely to read all of them.) The winner is drawn at random though

Spread the love.

Just to say we are hereby closing the comp and the draw will be made shortly. Watch this space!

To go somewhere remote to get away from all the bickering!

Last Christmas my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a hard year of treatment she has just been giving the all clear. So this year I wish all a very happy and healthy christmas and no matter how bad things appear try and remain positive

I would love it if my 3yr old grandson does not have to visit hospital this Christmas which would be a first. He has already given me a wonderful present by taking a few steps on his own.

My Christmas wish is a happy and healthy Christmas with all the family together, and it seems this is the most popular wish of all.

GeorgeW Wed 14-Dec-16 11:43:58

A healthier year ahead for me and my family and hopefully a happy one too! Materialistically, a new perfume or posh candle would be nice!

whizzybop Wed 14-Dec-16 11:38:20

My wishlist contains a food mixer, nutribullet, a sat nav and a dash cam :D Probably won't get any of them though.

I really want my family to have a lovely day and hopefully enjoy the gifts I have got for them. Personally wise I'd love Blink 182 tickets but would never ask anybody to buy them for me x

For my family to have a wonderful time, we are scattered all over the globe and that we have a good time even though we will be apart.

olmarshall Wed 14-Dec-16 08:04:12

After many months of having a MASSIVE work on the house, I have only one Christmas wish. We, as a family, really need time to relax and enjoy our time together. Ice-skating, here we come smile!
