Favourite is gardening - love being out & working there. Least favourite is definitely hayfever! Apparently the pollen's at it's highest for a decade this year - I can certainly agree with that - it's been horrendous so far!

I love the abundance in the garden - so many plants coming into flower, but I hate watering!

My favourite is warm evenings and clear night skies for star gazing. I dislike flies and midges.

I love being able to walk round the garden in full daylight at six in the morning listening to the birds singing and admiring the flowers.
I hate dead-heading the petunias - they are so sticky.

I love sitting in my cherished developing garden in a deckchair eating an ice cream.The worse thing is the itchy sore insect bites that appear from nowhere despite using repellent.

My least favourite thing about summer is people complaining that it's too hot! We've waited all year for this weather, enjoy it!

I love wearing just a t shirt and cut offs, plus underwear of course. So easy to get dressed in the mornings!

The best thing about summer for me are the long days and being able to have all the windows open all the time. The worst thing is once we reach mid summers day I know that each day is getting shorter and we're heading back to cold dark weather

My least favourite thing about summer are the midges that feast on my skin. The lumps they cause on my arms and legs ( and other parts of my body! ) are very unsightly and itch like mad!! My favourite thing about summer are the long, light and warmer nights after the dark, cold and dreary nights of our long winters when we have to try to keep warm wrapped up in layers of clothing.

My favourite thing about summer: the lovely light evenings, being able to sit outside with a cool drink until 10.00pm!
My least favourite thing? Well I think that has to be the flipping flies - the great big blow flies that buzz round the house, dive-bombing me, and banging themselves all over the window, except of course the part of the window that's open

My favourite thing about summer is warm evenings spent at the beach watching the horses cooling down as the sun sets.

My least favourite thing is the Polymorphic Light Eruption (PLE) that I suffer from every year (for the last 27 years) causing me to itch on every part of my body that the UVAs have got to. It means I have to stay indoors out of the sun as much as I can so reading is my saving grace in the summer.
