My favourite thing is being able to sit out in the garden with a good book.
Least favourite is wasps and biting insects, because I get a bad reaction to bites, which means a trip to the doctors and antibiotics.

Best thing warm/hot weather.
Worst thing being housebound and hayfever. I am unable to leave my flat unless accompanied and that is not always possible, so all I can do is to sit and look out of my window.

The delicious taste and mouth watering smell of home grown strawberries.

Constant, draining, hay fever .

Best: Long light evenings that give you time to sit and contemplate the world with a glass of chilled white wine and a good book for company

Worse: when you reach mid summers day and realise it's downhill from then on!

Being able to do the washing and knowing it will be dry in 30 minutes, least favourite attracting every insect known to man who almost always bite me whilst never going near my husband

My favourite summer pleasure is sitting in my outdoor comfy swing seat reading all recommended books from the local library and having lunch outside and back to more afternoon reading with a power nap in between. My least favourite summer chore is watering the garden after the sun's heat has gone.

I love spending time with my Grandsons as long as I can sit in the shade, I hate the heat, I prefer it cool than really hot.

I love spending time during the school summer holidays with all the family but wish the weather could be a little less hot - it’s horribly stuffy inside.

I love being able to put the washing on the line outside, instead of it hanging around like Widow Twankey's wash house.
I cannot bear the hundreds of ants that appear all over the house then when they congregate in the kitchen on the worktops, it is far worse!!! I know they are harmless but cannot bear to see them running everywhere, but I hate harming any little creature of any sort so am very torn what I should do about them! Any harmless antidotes anyone, have tried to talk to them nicely to go away but they seem to deaf to reason!!!!!

The best bit of summer is the long, warm summer evenings.

Not knowing whether to lie on top of or under bedclothes and still unable to sleep. Going outside and seeing that all my plants are parched and need water and that there are yet more weeds which have popped up since last night/this morning/lunchtime. Constant sneezing. Flies everywhere. Noisy neighbours having permanent drinks parties with loud music and kids shouting rude things at us. Love being able to wear floaty tops and long feminine skirts!

One of my favourite things about summer is seeing babies out in their buggies with bare arms and legs because I think babies' skin is just so beautiful.

My least favourite thing about summer is that it's never long enough!

Least favourite is hay fever, but sitting in the shade in the garden with an absorbing novel and an ever replenished glass of Pimms (Aperol spritz alternative!) is always a favourite indulgence!

My favourite thing about summer is being able to be outdoors, on the beach, a picnic with friends a few Pimms watching tennis and the BBQs. What I hate are the midges, the little blighters1

Thing that i look forward to ... seeing my grandchildren , having them to have sleepovers.... least thing to look forward too.....Impatient younger mum's chastising their children in public places rather loudly !!

Love the excitement & run up to our family Summer holiday, grandkids pack everything but the kitchen sink haha but that one week together is so special!

Hate when the grandkiddies return to school & so miss all our little Summer adventures! Don't think this little fella likes the idea of school either lol

Love going to the sea for quality family time . Hate wasps
