The best thing is being able to get outdoors without the layers of clothing.The worst is hay fever.

I love playing in the rock pools on the beach walking in the sea and being outdoors. Hours spent on the beach, walk,stopping for a drink and feeling good.

Least favourite thing is flies coming in when the door and windows are open.

Least favourite thing about summer: when it's too hot and sticky to sleep at night

Love hearing the children play outdoors......hate the hayfever that bugs me each summer

Love the sun and heat during the day but hate the heat at night because no-one sleeps properly

I hate the swarms of midges that I seem to attract!
I love the light nights which allows us to spend more time outdoors

Favourite thing is getting out into the garden, tottering about, the flowers, relaxing etc
Worse part is those pesty wasps.

I love eating outside and having plans with friends in the fresh air... I hate flies they spoil eating alfresco lol xx

As an insominiac I am always awake by 3:30 -4am....in the summer this is my favorite time of day.....I love to sit outside so early with a coffee and a good book, just listening to the birds starting their day...Bliss.
My least favorite thing about summer is the amount of flies ...especially as my local council have just introduced 3 weekly waste collections!....The awful sound of bluebottles buzzing around drives me crazy.

Also another new summer favorite of mine is the FABULOUS bamboo cooling towels I have recently bought..... But my least favorite is still the buzzing bluebottles etc.....lol

I love the longer days and the ability to get into the garden. I don't like the humidity, or the sunburn or insect bites!!

The best bit is the warm sunshine and the worst is when it gets too hot!

The best bit about Summer (especially the one we are currently enjoying) is the light mornings and then the light nights, no need to pull curtains/blinds across (unless the sun is hurting eyes!). Making the most of the lovely weather. The not so best bit, is being attacked by flies and other insects ( I hate creepy crawlies of any kind). Having to sleep with windows open, to try and get some air in lungs, but then not being able to sleep because the traffic is noisy, we live on quite a long road, which seems to be a fun place to drive down, turn around at the bottom on the little roundabout and drive back on motor bikes, sounding as if they are at Brand's Hatch !!!!

I most enjoy the grandchildren having time off school so we can go on outings together and they can come round in the week and play in the garden

Least favourite thing - being too hot too sleep.
Most favourite thing - lazing in the swing seat under the apple tree listening to the gentle buzz of sleepy garden insects and the occasional 'plop' as a frog slips into the pond.

Best thing - long sunny days
Worst thing - horse fly bites

Best thing is the light and the worse thing is not being able to visit places because its so busy!
