The best thing is being able to get out & about with my Family & friends,then relaxing in the shade with a good book! The worst is dry for long periods & my lovely Garden is gasping for water!!

My least favourite is being in my office in this heat as we have no air conditioning and a tin roof!

Being summer-born, I love the long, light-filled days. Up very early, before the heat of the day it is so peaceful and calming to walk round my garden as the world wakes up.

I dislike all the insects which also love summer - stingers especially and the flies which want to come in through open doors and windows. I am sure they have a purpose in Nature's scheme of things but I wish they did not include indoors!

Having long days with long light evenings is my favourite about summer. The worst, when there are jobs to be done and it is too hot to do them.

The best bit is you can be outside most of the time and the days are long. There is so much more time to do stuff.

The worse part is when it is difficult to sleep at night because of the heat.

Best - being able to enjoy throwing the windows open.
Worst - the neighbours permanently sitting outside their front door, loud music blaring, them permanently being drunk and throwing their tins into our bins and their fag-ends into our garden!

Least favourite thing - being hot (especially in a heatwave) and having to duck into the shade all the time

My favourite thing was always the children being off school so there was no rush in the mornings or school pick ups to do - I like the relaxed atmosphere of summer.
My least favourite is having to head off to a night shift when it's still light, warm and everybody is having fun.

I love the longer days and able to get out in the garden without being bundled in a load of clothing. I enjoy the heat but find it difficult to sleep when it is humid. Overall it is my favourite season

Most favourite lots of home grown fruit and vegetables. Least favourite not being able to sleep at night because it is too hot.

Best thing about summer is the bright nights and the weather (if it's nice!), the worst thing about summer is that it ends!

Picnics at the beach have got to be my favourite thing, flies in the kitchen are my pet summer hate.

What I like most about summer is that I get to spend time with my daughters and my mother on our annual holiday. We all get on really well and have some great times, sometimes in the UK and sometimes abroad. What I hate most about the summer is being so very hot. I know lots of people love the heat but I really don't. Perhaps I should have been born an eskimo!

Best thing about summer is being outside more and enjoying the great outdoors! Worst thing is the sticky fitful sleeps in the heat.
