Going fishing with my Dad and listening to the same story over the years, of how he caught a big fish and every time he would exaggerate the size of this fish. Happy days! RIP sadly missed.

Exploring with friends , old houses, abandoned cars, building sites etc... Everyday was an adventure and apart from a few bumps and bruises it was always good fun, carefree and no sense of danger or any stresses in life

Going out in the early misty mornings with my grandad to pick mushrooms in the woods. He would teach me about the trees, plants and creatures
; sometimes a hedgehog, a field mouse and once even a badger! Then we’d go go home to nana who would cook our pickings as part of a huge Yorkshire breakfast.

My favourite childhood memories revolve around Christmas and going to my grandparents. It was my Nan's birthday on Christmas Eve so our very large family gathered there on the evening. Seeing all my cousins, mom's cousins, aunts, uncles etc and playing with everyone was always so exciting.

Going to bed on Christmas Eve armed with a torch, hoping to see Father Christmas - I never did!
