Hot chocolate and a good book ?

A gentle walk to clear my head helps me to relax and unwind followed by a good read of my favourite books.

It used to be a long hot bath, good book and a glass of wine but our current house has no bath and you can't read in the shower . Nowadays, I find a quiet corner and curl up with a good book that transports me to another place.

Put on some good music and dance to expend some energy, then lay down, listen to meditation music and burn relaxing essential oils.

When things get difficult in life, to stop myself from feeling down, I like to do things such as paint my nails or have a bubble bath, and find little joys and treats like that to keep me feeling good.

I love a long soak in a bath with nicely scented products. Having 3 daughters I often 'share' my products with them so winning this spa prize would be sheer bliss.

Make sure the grandkids are in bed (if they are sleeping here) I have a lovely warm bath, where I am undisturbed, relaxing music playing from my bedroom and all my troubles seem to disappear.
