Taking the dog out for a walk and enjoying the simple things in life, the walking makes you feel alive & I get great pleasure out of seeing my dog and other dogs playing & enjoying their freedom & natural surroundings smile.

A glass of champagne,
Or a cup of tea,
A bubble bath,
A minute or three,
Some peace and quiet,
A loving hug,
A thoughtful gesture,
A favourite pud,
A facial,
A manicure,
A walk with the dog,
All these things can clear the fog,
Put a smile on my face an a spring in my step,
... but these Sanctuary goodies would be my best bet!

Hoping I'm lucky - as I could really do with some TLC inside and out!

A cycle ride or walk, followed by a mug of hot chocolate or a glass of wine, sitting by the fire or out in the garden, depending on time of day and weather. Music helps too.

I love to relax by lighting a candle in my bedroom then having a warm shower using a lovely scented shower oil. I rub fragranced body oil all over, put clean pyjamas on and curl up in my bed with the electric blanket on low. I read a book or magazine and block all my thoughts and worries out for an hour or so. Must go, I have a candle to light! Bliss.

Chilling out in the sun with a cocktail and good back when I'm on holiday is my best way to relax

A cup of tea and hot bath generally works although my 'never fail' way to relax is to sit on a beach whenever I can.

annodomini Tue 18-Sept-18 21:16:46

Feet up, good book and soothing music.

So many people advocating a relaxing bath. I can't remember when I last had a bath. Showers for me, every time. These lovely spa smellies would be ideal for my hard-working daughter, though. She loves a good soak in the tub.
Singing with my choir is one of my most relaxing things. All worries float away, and I feel rejuvenated after a rehearsal.
At home I love to settle down with a good book, or tackle a jigsaw puzzle while I listen to the radio.
