We only have one grandchild, a little boy of four, and know there won’t be any more, so hard to pick one special thing. Think it must be the big hug and very big smile when we collect him from school although we can only do this every other Monday because of distance.

Having special chats about life with my 6 year old grand daughter.

Watching the stout and sturdy little body of my 2 year old GS running towards me, huge grin on his face and his arms open wide for a swing hug from granny.

Watching a small grandson run with a kite across a beach, having your baby granddaughter blow raspberries and laugh at you, wonderful!!!

Seeing the 2 wee people through the front door as they batter the glass upon arrival at my house. And then seeing the nose, lips and finger marks after they’ve gone!

Just being there for them when they need me. Travelling with them, introducing them to books, films, art - and most importantly laughing with them!

I love being a grandma and the cuddles from all 4 of mine when I read them a story before bed are just the best

We have 3 grandchildren and a 4th on the way, they light up when they see us, its great to spend time with them, getting to know each of there individual personalities as they are constantly changing and growing up. It precious time and we feel so lucky.

The joy of being in my grandchildren life and enjoy the love and laughter they bring

I see my little granddaughter every week and I love seeing the changes. Each week there is something new she can say or do. She's a star!
