helloI love to see and play with my grandson, he is a very bright five-year-old, we have built up a special bond together, we do art and crafts together. His grandad has taught him draughts and monopoly, he comes to stay with us every other weekend, Grandad picks him up from school Friday afternoon and we take him home on Sunday afternoon, when he sees us you can tell he is so pleased to see us, it is such a joy to spend quality time with our lil man, he loves coming here so much he never want's to go home. we feel so blessed to be part of his life.

When my little grandson comes into my house runs up to me and throws his arms tightly around me for a big hug.

I love my huga huggas from my wee grandson. He lives in Canada but puts his cheek to the iPad to send me a huga. ?

I love being asked to play games with my grandchildren and we have such fun playing together.

My nan loved to show me things like how to cook and bake.

I am not a grandparent yet but I have always valued those special conversations that you can only have with your gran!

My favourite thing about being a GP is having very different relationships with each of my nine grandchildren...it's wonderful to be able to really relate to each one with their different personalities, likes and dislikes, hopes and fears etc. A real privilege to be part of their lives.

I love being a Gran because I get to do all the nice things with my granddaughter that I couldn’t do when the boys were younger!
