I am going to give of my time - to walk the dog for my son and DiL - it will help them and do me good to get out and about and take some exercise. Always feels great after a walk - and it's all free.

The best gift I can give this Christmas is the power to communicate to my grand daughter Sophie who is profoundly deaf but can hear with cochlear implants. However, associated cerebral palsy means she has difficulty speaking. A device called Go Talk 20 will assist with her communication at school and home. The best Christmas present I could buy her! Hope she likes it and it helps her with the many hurdles she has to surmount!

I get quite stressed about coming up with good presents every year - this year the kids are all in their twenties, and had said it's really about coming home and eating my nice cooking (!) which is really sweet of them - I do love cooking and baking for them!

I am giving premium bonds to all the children in our family so they can have the excitement of checking them each month as well as some spending money

We're really excited to be gifting a Heritage DNA test to tell you all about the regions your truly from etc. to my father-in-law.

I am most looking forward to giving my mum a personalised photo calendar I have made for her. She will love it

Some time to see family & friends would be nice and a cosy read.
