Music - love to hear music all the time - helps me dance to my chores!!! Love all types of music and thoroughly enjoy current music much to my grandchildrens' amazement!
Listening to the music of my younger days when I was carefree and had no worries or problems. Takes me back to the sixties and seventies. I could listen to this music for ages
It changes all the time but this week it was playing mummies & daddies with my 3 year old GD, I was daddy and getting told off. Then she told me off for taking one of her chips - Her "Who's are those?" Me "Yours" Her "What are you doing eating them then" made me feel about 5 years old not really as young as I want to feel. A real belly laugh always makes me feel young.
The music of the 70's always makes me feel young again. Suddenly transported back to youth club discos and listening to the radio as the weekly chart was counted down.
Today I've mowed our large lawn, cut back a lot of shrubs, gave the garden a general tidy. Then washed the car and hoovered it out, and gone shopping. My friend is away so I've been keeping an eye on her house so I went over to hers to water her hanging baskets and pots. On days like that I'm running around like a 20 year old ! Tomorrow I'll probably be feeling 150 !
Initially I was going to say my grandchildren, because when I am with them they certainly lift my spirits, but when they leave I am exhausted and certainly feel my age.
Spending time relaxing with my friends is a lot of fun, going to the theatre or a film, out for lunch or just a coffee makes me feel younger.
My grandchildren, especially playing football with grandson in the park. We have a kicker Ball and even I could do a ‘kick it like Beckham’ great feeling.
Spending time with my beautiful nieces who are aged 11 and 9. I’m disabled and in a lot of pain but they manage to make me forget briefly, they are so caring and they make me laugh out loud. I think laughter makes one feel young to.
