Going on a seaside holiday to Seahouses with my grown up children and the dogs. It’s very nostalgic remembering the times I went here with my parents many many moons ago, and when we took the kids when they were younger. A tradition I adore - splodging in the sea, rockpooling, picnics on the beach, a boat ride, crabbing, walks with the dogs, plenty of fresh sea air and of course fresh fish and chips! A yearly sand castle competition between the family and a warm welcome from the locals who remember us. The days are long but filled with activities I could only dream of at home - all topped off with an evening tipple in the pub. I feel 21 again although no candy rock with my dentures - but plenty of shortbread instead!
