taking care of grandchildren whilst their parents worked. My social life improved when attending parent and child groups , and building sandcastles and paddling in the sea was something I hadn't done in years. I could act like a youngster again with no comments about "acting my age"

There are so many things that make me feel young again. Here are a few:
Spending time with my grandchildren and seeing the world though “their eyes”.
Listening to 60s and 70s music.
Dancing in the kitchen to the said music.
Re reading my one and only surviving Jackie Annual.

As soon as songs from the sixties play on the radio, I'm back there - all the hope and excitement of being on the edge of 'something' - was never sure quite what! Hearing those songs again lifts my spirits and has me singing along!

I have moved into some retirement flats and so freed up time for all the things I enjoy which help me feel young: wine society; choir, all ages from 20's to 60's; voluntary work. And trying new things like tai chi and yoga.
