I loved the ugly duckling because I loved how happy he was in the end after having a horrible time being picked on.

Cinderella - loved the magic of turning into a pumpkin and then meeting a prince - such a happy ending!

Cinderella was my favourite. Loved that she got to the ball with magic.

Jack and the Beanstalk. The sense of adventure was amazing

Sleeping Beauty was my favourite fairy story, reason why was handsome Prince swept in and saved the day with a kiss. Always a good start to your day!

I loved Goldilocks - poor baby bear. It was good to see them catch her asleep and give her a bit of a scare!

Beauty and the Beast was my favourite although the picture of the Beast used to be a bit scary.

I loved the story of Peter Pan and love the films too.

Cinderella - rags to riches, a handsome prince and living happily ever after, sounded wonderful to me!

Peter Pan was my favourite, and it took me years to realise it was all just a dream...... or was it?

Chicken Licken because "the sky is falling" fear stuck in my head

Cinderella - because, when I was small, I was taken to see a Christmas pantomime production which starred Yana as Cinderella and Tommy Steele as Buttons. Yana was exactly my idea of how Cinderella should look and sound, and at the end I could not understand why she preferred Prince Charming to Buttons, who was much more fun.

Hansel and Gretel. Scary but exciting

The Ugly Duckling because she eventually grew into a beautiful swan that everyone loved. Something that I hoped would happen to me...!!!

Emporers New Clothes because I thought it was hilarious that he was naked & didn't understand why noone was prepared to tell him

We had the Andrew Lang fairy books and I was simultaneously horrified and fascinated by The Princess in the Chest which was truly terrifying. My big Sister and I hid the book with that one in!

Goldilocks and the three bears, the bears were fab

The Magic Porridge Pot! Think I liked the idea of a never ending supply.

The Emperor's new clothes as I was amazed that they got away with being rude

Cinderella - after an unhappy life she met her soul mate and lived happily ever after.

Goldilocks and the three bears. I remember having the book at home when I was little and loved reading it. I think I felt sorry for baby bear having had all of his porridge eaten and his chair broken into pieces.

Rapunzel. I had lng hair as a little girl and could sit on my plaits. I loved the idea that they could save me!!

I loved Jack and the Beanstalk - such a fab story with a superb ending.
