I would take them on safari, to see the lions and giraffes, And we would watch through our binoculars, having lots of laughs. We might spot some elephants, plodding slowly along, While my little granddaughters decide to sing their favourite animal song. Their faces would light up, to see the wildlife run free And we’d sit back and relax, with a cake and flask of tea. And although this would probably only ever be a dream, We can still imagine our adventures, and all the animals we have seen.
I am looking forward to taking my grandchildren to Texas in 5 years time to see a total eclipse. They live in Vietnam so it will be so different for them. I dont get to see them enough so am looking forward to the trip.
I would take them to South Africa to see their other Granny who they call Go Go as their Daddy is South African but am pleased to say he married my daughter but they live in England . I would be lovely for the two Grannies to meet up.
I'm sure there will be lots of answers to this question in the time to come but right now I'd like to be there when they first experience Disney World and Mickey.
I'd take my grandchildren (and children) to Mexico, I'd love to show them all the beauty, visit the Mayan ruins and Chichin Itza (so much more interesting than Minecraft)
I would normally say Florida, because it's so much fun. But at the moment I would say a visit to the Tutankhamen exhibition that has just opened in London. I saw it in 1972. It was magnificent, and apparently it will never leave Egypt again. The Treasures of the Pharaoh's tomb are a wonder to behold I think grandchildren should see them if they are old enough to understand the history of Ancient Egypt.
