This is a tough one as there are so many beautiful places both at home in the UK and abroad. It would have to be Finland to see the Northern Lights, followed by a visit to Lapland to meet their hero Santa.

I'd take them to the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. They all like different sports, so there would be something for everyone - and for me!

I would take them on a traditional sailing ship in the Caribbean, where they are part guest and part crew. They are expected to take part in the day to day activities of sailing the ship, including the great adventure of climbing rigging. It is a fantastic team building experience, as well as learning about sailing. The Caribbean islands are a great educational playground, including learning about the Geography of volcanic islands, the fine balance of man and nature and a huge amount of British History.

I would take my grandchildren to a family party where we could all celebrate being together and part of one another's lives with extended family members too. I would relish the idea of creating such a sense of belonging and how we all can fit into our own family jigsaw. This has become even more important to us since my DIL 's recovery from breast cancer. Family is so precious and sometimes we can just take it all for granted.

I would take my grandchildren to Japan where I was born. We can explore different culture, enjoy food & beautiful scenery changing with 4 different seasons. When I took my children many years ago I think they enjoyed very much staying Japan.
