I'd take them to New Zealand. It looks so beautiful and more relaxed than the UK. Don't fancy sitting with them on a plane for 24 hours though!!

Every outing with my grandchild would be a mini adventure to open her mind to the wonders of the world, be it a visit to a London museum or a walk around a lake in the park to identify new creatures great and small

I'm blessed to spend a lot of time, including lovely holidays, with my grandchildren. If there is one unusual place I'd like to take them it would be back in time to meet my parents, their great-grandparents. I know my Mum and Dad would have adored them and it's sad that they never met, but I try to tell the children stories of my parents (and grandparents) to keep a connection between the generations and remind us all that we are one big family even if we never get together at once.

I would take them to a third world country. Somewhere they can see how other people and children are living, without food, real economic instability and poverty. I would like them to be aware of how lucky they are to have what they have. Also inspire them to make changes and help those less fortunate.
