I would take my dear Grandaughter to a particular caravan site in North Wales for a relaxing break. Its the special place that I used to take her Mum to when she was small. I am always telling her stories about the long Summer holidays many moons ago when I used to take her Mum to Wales. We have so many special memories of those days. Her Mum learned to walk in the field by our caravan, learned to ride her first bike around the caravan, and she learned to whistle and tried her first favourite foods. It would be great to bring the memories and stories to life for my grandaughter. Memories are treasures that are cherised in your heart forever.

I would take my Grandchildren to Gorleston, Norfolk. The beach is lovely and clean and you can watch the ships being reversed into the harbour by a very skillful Harbour Master. The views are lovely and there is also a sandy play area for them to have fun in.

I'd take them to Shell Beach on little Herm Island - a very favourite place of my own childhood - and we'd hunt for the miniature shells you find there and draw a mermaid picture in the sand, decorating her tail with shells and stones, and making her hair of seaweed. It's a very special place to be.
