It's that time of year again...

If you are stuck for gift ideas for family/friends, look no further than our round-up of the best books for Christmas. From psychological thrillers to women's fiction, autobiographies to cookbooks (and everything in between), there really is something for everyone.

And, as ever, we are giving one lucky person the chance to win everything featured on the page...worth over £800. All you have to do is tell us, on this thread, who you'd most like to find under your tree this Christmas (and why).

We will be drawing a winner at random at midday on Monday 16 December. Terms and conditions apply - more details on the page.

I would love to find my much loved Mother-in-law under the Christmas tree. She died 8 years ago today - I still feel blessed to have had such a lovely woman in my life, quite apart from her being a brilliant and wholly supportive mother-in-law. I still miss her lots.

I would like to find my Granddad. I have so many questions that I would like to ask him about WW1.
He died when I was in my early 20's and I didn't ask him about many things. He was in the army and was sent to Egypt. The very thought of that horrifies me now, he was only eighteen years old.

Family members who died before I was old enough to tell them how much they meant to me, and friends who I've lost touch with over the years.
