Telling my son that Santa / the tooth fairy are real. Not all white lies are bad

I'm not much good at lying even in a white way, but when my younger daughter was ill with bulimia I lied through my teeth to her about things to get her to stop. I also got our dentist to do the same thing because my daughter did take good care of her teeth so she listened when the dentist told her that damage was occurring because of her condition.

Went for an interview to work for a Jewish company, told them I was also Jewish. Got the job :-) but then I had to research all the holidays and even choose a temple to be a member of! Lasted a week, had to get another job.

I told my Husband a white lie when I didn't tell him I had bought him a weekend away for his birthday and said I could only afford to buy him the book he wanted
