I would be pleased! (I think)

Evie64 Wed 06-May-20 20:25:27

My partner never gets involved in what I consider to be "mine" unless of course you include telling me how I should have cooked something, even though he never cooks!

HE8ME8HM Wed 06-May-20 17:04:28

I don't mind when my partner gets involved as it shows he is interested in the same stuff as me!

Oldbat1 Wed 06-May-20 16:22:34

He just wouldn’t which is fine with me.

Tessa56 Wed 06-May-20 15:14:41

Annoyed big time, for years I do things one way and all of a sudden it’s not the right way ? but compromise is the name of the game I suppose or not!!

silversand12 Wed 06-May-20 13:38:41

Sadly not a problem I have ever had, so I really can't answer that

tuller Wed 06-May-20 13:05:52

I always 'allow' their first interest , let them start on their own with my interest and if they really are 'in to it' they will carry on with it, another convert to my hobby/interest, is always a joy.

From the day we married in 1978 I became we so nothing is exclusive. Often we have tried each others activities both in and out of the home, some we have continued with, some we have relinquished happily.

Sarahvwomble Wed 06-May-20 11:22:24

Have not got one but if did,and was getting on with him or her, would be glad I think, it's more enjoyable when you can share an experience or interest.

christijojo123 Wed 06-May-20 10:39:14

Quite happy for him to become involved as he is my other half, glad he shows interest.

Tabs Wed 06-May-20 09:41:40

I would love him to get involved in something that is "mine".

travelsafar Wed 06-May-20 06:35:31

He tends to take over, so i just leave him to it. As long as the job gets done i dont really care who does it. When we do do something together, we usually work well as a team.

Elrel Wed 06-May-20 01:23:11

Delighted that we can have a shared interest!

hutchy73 Wed 06-May-20 00:11:36

Like having common interests - unfortunately he is sporty and I struggle with health to join him

lwkns Tue 05-May-20 23:32:29

Depends on whether he's helping or getting in the way! Always happy to let him help/get involved.

ceejayen Tue 05-May-20 23:21:49

I no longer have anybody to annoy me and happily enjoy all tasks independently!

Playfulgilly Tue 05-May-20 23:05:33

As long as the the thing is the cooking, i'd be happy

StickChildNumberTwo Tue 05-May-20 22:20:54

Depends - if he tries to take over it drives me mad, if he wants to get involved and share it can be great.

cazzar1 Tue 05-May-20 21:40:30

I'm quite happy for him to take an interest in anything that I consider mine and join in smile

ammaline Tue 05-May-20 21:36:10

I don't have a partner so something else I don't have to worry about thankfully!

Leefitz68 Tue 05-May-20 20:59:24

We embrace it together

ykellock Tue 05-May-20 19:45:40

I would let him help as quite often his advice is right (even though I would not initially think he is!)

shyhb Tue 05-May-20 18:58:22

I don’t mind as long as he doesn’t try to take over.

Fflaurie Tue 05-May-20 18:30:33

I'd worry he wouldn't like it and spoil it for me.

smnrose Tue 05-May-20 18:23:26

i resent it, its very annoying
