Any Katie Morag story except that as I'm English am not allowed to read them - has to be Grandad as he is Scottish so reads them "properly" …

My Daughter and i spent many hours together reading The magic faraway tree, now i read it to my Granddaughter using my Daughters copy from all those years ago.

My grachidren ove What The Ladybird Heard. I took them to see it on stage and then purchased the book, they love it.

I love reading Julia Donaldson books because the rhyming is fun and they can join in, our favourite is Room on the Broom.

The book I love is "Guess How Much I Love You"
My children are both in their twenties now and they still remember us reading this book to them

So many fantastic stories around its hard to pick one! I love Oliver Jeffers stories and also Diary of a wombat as the pictures are so good!

I love reading The Tiger Who Came To Tea to my nearly 2 year old Grandson. He enjoys growling when the tiger makes an appearance. I am reading it on Skype to him about once a week and missing him very much.

Oh I am a first time Grannie to a little girl born in February who was 3 weeks old when I last saw her before lockdown :-(
So not much chance to share stories with her yet and of course there will always be family favourites we can read ;-)
but I am ready with a new story.....Barry The Fish with Fingers.( Sue Hendra & Paul Linnet) YAY I can't wait ;-)

I love reading Dancing Shoes by Noel Streatfield that my mother read to me - as well as an exciting story it's a bit of a history lesson as well, lots of questions and discussion!

We have a Thomas book with buttons on side which you press to make sounds to fit story and a gruffallo book which does the same gs enjoys these and stick man is also a favourite .

I enjoy reading There's A Dragon In Your Book by Tom Fletcher to my Granddaughter. When I first bought and started reading the book to her she thought the book was going to catch fire because the illustrations are so good. It was lovely to see such good imagination and I enjoy the interaction within the book for me and my Granddaughter.

Green Eggs and Ham! I read this as a child and read it to my son and now grandchildren. I love the word play as well as the illustrations and ideas with Dr Seuss books! They're fun to read!

I love reading " I wrote to the zoo" it's my Grandsons favourite. He's only 15 months but if you say go and get the zoo book ,he comes back with the right book.
