We recycle/reuse everything we can, have changed to a energy provider where all our energy is either wind generated or offset, turn off all lights/chargers when not in use, etc.

Helping my son with his two allotments, to supply us with fruit, vegetables, salads and eggs. It's a labour of love. The list for ownership of an allotment is growing exponentially and seed companies are tripling sales on seeds and plants. I just wish people would turn their lawns into vegetable patches. The positives? Stress relief, fresh produce and a hobby to share and learn from.

Oh - and no need to buy or use a lawnmower. That's exhilerating in its own right!

Now retired hubby and I find our needs are small and our wants minimal. We try to grow as much of our fruit and veg in our organic garden as possible mindful of attracting and supporting wildlife visitors. Indoors we recycle as much as possible and very little goes in our domestic waste bin. We try to be as eco-friendly in all that we do but just wish brands would do more to help us cut down on plastic

less , recycling more, giving so much to the charity shops, trying to walk wherever possible and eating less meat

Walk where possible stead of taking the car, recycling as much as possible, saving energy by installing energy saving alternatives, not over buying so there is less waste.

Very careful with my rubbish output so lucky in our area local council have made it easier for elderly people with enough bins for each type, grow as many vegetables as I can and catch & collect rainwater through a distributor on down pipe, we also have a crisp packet bin at our local school which I encourage my grandchildren always to use We never seem to have much food waste but any leftovers well the chickens will eat anything ?

Eating less meat and driving a more fuel efficient car (can't use public transport because there isn't any where we live!)

We are trying to make lots of small susainable changes:

We recycle as much as possible
Donate to charity, freecycle or pass on any items no longer wanted or needed
We use a water butt to collect rainwater for garden use
We walk as much as possible
We use "bags for life" for shopping

Every small step is better than no step

Cutting down unnecessary trips in the car and recycling more carefully.

Firstly I give to WWF each month to save Jaguars, Rhinos and Elephants as it is humans that are making them near to extinction.
I recycle all I can, I use less water, I buy my fruit and veg from greengrocers as they are not covered in plastic. I walk to work, I keep any left over food to eat next day to avoid food waste,turn off all electric when not in use, use energy efficient light bulbs,never buy takeaway coffee or burgers that come in plastic packaging.Give clothes to charity shops, if I get new furniture I give my old to a company called Restore and they resell it to help people less fortunate.

All lighting is now LED and we use smart meters to monitor gas and electricity usage. We recycle whatever we can - food waste, plastics, metals, paper and clothing.

We have started to grow as much food as much as possible, seasonal and cheaper as well as cutting out food mile.
Waste less with food and toiletries, using traditional recipes for cleaning eg: lemon, bicarb and vinegar.
Recycle always.
Walking and cycling and shopping bulk so less travel in the car.
