I avoid any products using palm oil because de-forestation increases global warming. Re-cycle everything possible and grow fruit and veg in my small garden organically.

At work (I work shifts) every time I do wellbeing check rounds, I switch off all the lights in every empty room. For the rest of course I recycle/upcycle everything and anything :0)

We have installed 5 or 6 water butts around the garden to collect rainwater so we don't need to use tap water for our garden and we try to recycle as much as we can

We've tried changing things we do most often - so taking bags with us when we pop to the shops or do a food shop, walking if we can or lift sharing (saves money too!), freezing left over food for lunch meals to save waste, recycling all we can (our local council do a great collection service every other week), we've also stopped buying bottles of drink when out and now take a flask or re-usable cup (we had them as birthday gifts) or a re-usable drinks bottle. Its actually been good fun - and become a bit of an obsession.

We try and buy local, in season food that often has the benefit of less packaging but we recycle that too!

i have an allotment and try to grow as much food for the family as i can , compost most things there and at home. we also try to buy only local food.
since lockdown have pledged to have more uk staycations even when restrictions are lifted.

Basically we recycle so much that we now hardly have anything in our rubbish bin anymore. We are in the process of cutting single use plastic out, which is harder than you think when you decide to do it and haven't bought any plastic carrier bags since the ruling came in to charge for them. We also try to buy local which has actually improved our diet as we're now eating more foods from local farms and have also started growing our own produce this year.

I have taken advantage of the lockdown to try and walk everywhere, I only use my car for essential journeys such as loading up at the supermarket. I recycle all my rubbish and have committed to shopping for local produce whenever possible to help reduce carbon emissions of transport.
More importantly I am talking to my children about these issues to encourage them and the rest of our younger generation to follow suit.

We have all been using reusable glass water bottles and tote shopping bags to reduce the use of plastic as much as possible in our household.

I am currently eating less meat as to be honest I much prefer plant based foods . I now avoid palm oil and plastic products a lot more . I have switched to shampoo bars and we also recycle everything we can

We recycle and use less plastic

We recycle everything we can. We have replaced storage containers with glass ones in the kitchen. These can be stored in freezer and used in oven and microwave.
We eat a lot more vegetables and far less meat. We have a box of veg delivered with no plastic. It’s farmers surplace. Boxes are returned for recycling.

I'm recycling as much as possible and saving on my water usage.

I've started leaving things outside my house to give away to people in my neighbourhood, as a lot of charity shops aren't taking donations. It's nice knowing that others can make use of a lot items rather than them ending up in the bin.

We changed our shopping habits a lot - using the local butchers and grocers more over supermarkets, taking our own bags, minimising packaging. We try to meal plan to avoid wasteage.

Any boxes we have we try to recycle and I pass my sons old clothes on to family who have younger children.

I am a keen recycler of all things and even upcycle furniture, I also love a good charity shop bargain , I would rather recycle something old and turn it into someone beautiful again and help save the environment that buy new

I walk as much as I can, great exercise for free! Only buy clothes from charity shops or markets, well, vintage is so chic, we only have the central heating on if it's freezing cold, put on another jumper is the policy in our house, and snuggling up on the sofa in soft blankets is bliss anyway!

I am trying to learn as much as possible about the history of climate change from the ice ages to the ending of ice ages. Trying to find out why it was so much warmer in Roman times to enable grapes and olives to be grown in Britain and why there was a mini-ice age in the seventeen century when the Thames froze over. I think if we know about the cycliality of the climate and are able to teach others about it then climate change will be viewed in a day perspective.

I use shampoo bars and soap bars instead of bottled products, to cut down on plastic waste.

Recycle lots more, our cut grass goes into a compost bin too
