Simply that.

Are you watching to hear from the most reliable source.

Boris is ok. Leave him alone. I think he's cute. I just want to walk behind him and ruffle his hair. Bless him.

Anniebach Fri 20-Mar-20 18:40:44

Yes, please do keep her

Callistemon Fri 20-Mar-20 18:38:04

You can keep her - please do!!

Whitewavemark2 Fri 20-Mar-20 18:37:58

Bj wanted the job, desperate for it in fact. Suck it up springs to mind. He sees himself as a Churchillian figure, start acting like it.

Greymar Fri 20-Mar-20 18:34:17

GG, I see he is exhausted like TM was totally exhausted. Dispassionately and rather shallowly,it's not what I want to see.

Wheniwasyourage Fri 20-Mar-20 18:18:49

Just heard both of these politicians speaking on the radio. One used a long rambling sentence with no obvious punctuation so that what useful stuff he did say was not that easy to disentangle. The other one was clear, speaking well (and grammatically) and said what he wanted to say (and pretty good it was, I think, and I'm certainly no Tory) in a straightforward manner.

Do we have the wrong man in the PM job?

Nicola Sturgeon also has been clear and forthright in what she says, but no, we're keeping her here!

vegansrock Fri 20-Mar-20 18:18:32

Basically BJ is a divisive figure- sycophants will think Boris marvellous, those who dislike him will want to throw up when he blusters on. Sunak better , maybe he should take over.

varian Fri 20-Mar-20 18:18:07

He is completely out of his depth. A spoilt prep-school boy incapable of doing a real job, let alone the most important job in the country.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 20-Mar-20 18:10:58

Or greymar he is just totally exhausted, which given the circumstances is understandable.

Two of my boys went to prep school, scruffiness and slouching were against rules and carried various punishments/privileges taken away!

Greymar Fri 20-Mar-20 18:04:50

No Calendar and GG, I disagree, I believe it is very important to give out confidence and certainty. I am not bashing the Tory party. Rishi gives out the right signals, his speaking, his body language his sense of connection. Boris is trapped in his prep school ways.

Calendargirl Fri 20-Mar-20 18:02:12

Greymar

Boris has a hunched posture, rather unkind to say a straight back would be a start

Hardly the time to nit pick about shirts and posture.

varian Fri 20-Mar-20 17:59:45

He should have done these things last week, when all the other European countries were closing schools, universities, pubs, restaurants etc.

BJ ,and because of him the UK, is slow on the uptake.

GrannyGravy13 Fri 20-Mar-20 17:55:58

If he ran into a burning orphanage and rescued all the children and their kittens people would still find fault.

He is doing the correct thing with shutting pubs, restaurants and gyms.

He is putting in support for small businesses so that they can retain their staff, he is helping the self employed.

Couldn't give a flying monkeys what he looks like as long as these measures work!!

Greymar Fri 20-Mar-20 17:47:30

I think Boris has been excellent

I so want to believe this. He is however, terrible. He has unlimited rescources, an ironed shirt and a straight back would help for starters. He is hopelessly out of his depth, its embarassing.

varian Fri 20-Mar-20 17:29:07

BJ is as cringeably embarrassing as ever, which would not matter except he is supposed to be the leader of this country at a time when we desperately need a competent leader.

Every response from this government to the virus has been too little too late. We are headed before long to the place where Italy is now.

grandMattie Fri 20-Mar-20 17:27:16

Yes, daily and think he’s doing a sterling job under hideous circumstances.

Greymar Fri 20-Mar-20 17:23:23

For God's sake sort out your posture, your hair , your shirt, your gestures.

Rishi, however , nailes it.

trisher Fri 20-Mar-20 14:19:19

Could we swap Boris for her? I suppose no one would fall for that. What about a 2 for 1 offer? BJ and Priti for Nicola?- that's worse isn't it!!!

Labaik Fri 20-Mar-20 00:54:49

...can we borrow her? we'll give her back, honest.....

Labaik Fri 20-Mar-20 00:54:13

#leaderenvy envy

paddyanne Fri 20-Mar-20 00:47:11

I have confidence in the FM Nicola Sturgeon she has the experience of dealing with SARS in 2003(?) behind her so she knows what needs to be done and she is doing it with some measure of compassion for the people of Scotland NOT just big business.Where English businesses will be offerd loans at 19'8 % Scottish ones will get grants to allow staff to be paid and a package of other measures including rate relief will be in place within weeks .There is also talk of a universal income as Ian Blackford attepted Boris and co to consider yesterday .Apparent Bojo would rather let his loan shark friends make shed loads of cash from the misfortune of small business....no surprise there .

ElaineI Fri 20-Mar-20 00:00:10

No watched Disney Cars with DGS2 - favourite film just now. Boris a turn off for him and me!

trisher Thu 19-Mar-20 23:38:44

Bet they hope that will get lost in the Covoid19 stuff.
I can't listen to BJ it's bad enough socially distancing myself without having to listen to him everyday!

Whitewavemark2 Thu 19-Mar-20 18:47:40

At long last

I think Boris has been excellent. He is listening to scientists, all working full out to give us good advice and get us through this, who else would you listen to? This is unprecedented, so no one has the answer but lots of very clever people are working tirelessly to find one.
