It's my mum's 93rd birthday on Mother's Day.

I would go and see her she may not have many Mother’s Day ,left. Sorry to be so harsh but that’s what I would do.

I would definitely go and see her but explain that it can't be the whole crowd this time.

My MiL was 95 on Friday. We went round in the evening for cake and a drink with her (and grandpa) and prised open some of the over wrapped florist flowers, which they hadn't been able to do. They have a daily help but no "carers".

We are also in the danger zone being over 70 (and DH has health problems) so have a dilemma too.

It's so sad. She loves her family.

I'd go and see her - maybe before any family came to me. You know where you've been, who you've seen and how you are feeling. That's so much easier than trying to establish that all members of your family don't present any current health risks to your Mum. She'll be thrilled to see you and it'll be lovely to share a Mother's Day visit with her. I so miss mine whom I recently lost at 103.

I wouldn't have all the family round, but I would probably see her.
I think the info today said something about staying within your own neighbourhood, if possible.
