I posted this on another thread but it got a bit lost.

Tesco delivery driver told me yesterday that if you write in the comments box of the order, that you are ‘self isolating’ Tesco will bag all of your shopping up, they will phone you 10 minutes before they arrive to warn you that they will leave the shopping on your doorstep.
The driver will note that you are unable to sign for the order , so if any items are missing you can call them as usual.
I’m assuming that the other supermarkets will be doing the same thing.
Now to go and find an available slot..........

Yes, slots are like hens teeth at the moment, hopefully they will extend the delivery hours, let’s hope the drivers and staff stay healthy!

I should have added that I’ve left all the shopping in the spare room for 72 hours and all fridge stuff is in a clean bag and placed in the fridge , again for 72 hours, ditto freezer stuff. I’ll unpack it all later in the week.

Not sure how long the virus can survive on packaging in the cold.

I have just done an Ocado order for 3rd April. There is a notice on the site saying their drivers will not be going into homes.
