Insane. Like millions of others in the U.K., I am still having to go to work - I'm 60. Coronavirus is on the increase, but for the majority of people, life is still going on as usual.

Does it take 11 days from exposure to show symptoms?

up to 14 days I was told so dont go out if you might have contacted someone who has been confirmed as having CV

I imagine craftycat is self isolating, and counting down the days until she has reached the point where she knows she is free from the virus.
Then, as she puts it she can relax. Of course she has to stay isolated from then on, or risk infection.

We've been social distancing and just leaving the house to walk the dog and then on our walk today someone walked up to the dog and stroked it. My partner, who had the dog at the time said he 'couldn't stop it' [yes he could]. Hoping it doesn't pose too much of a risk but the man had, he said, just been shopping. I'd just cancelled a burglar alarm service as I didn't want anyone coming to the house .
