please dont travel its the worse thing you can do. stay indoors hopefully this will pass. check on neighbours especially the elderley. where I live in Liverpool the local opticians is accepting tin food and donating to charitys as food banks are desperate for food. Think about how lucky we are to be alive and donate any food you can to local charites as in my case my local specsavers is accepting all tinned food so if your local to liverpool which I doubt very much, but worth a shot please donate to specsavers liverpool kirkby

There is a real leadership vacuum in this country.

Johnson is a follower he is no leader.

Exactly WW I’m actually quite cross about this total abject failure. What’s the point of just asking people nicely not to over buy?

What happened to prioritising on line shopping for at risk folk?

The government needs to step up and give firm leadership, little wimpy press conferences won’t cut it.

They just don’t get it do they? I absolutely believe that there is enough food - all I want is my share of it that I can access with minimal risk. That means online deliveries or the sort of shopping seen eg in Denmark where people keep 2 metres apart and limited numbers in shop at any time.

The current protected hours system is complete rubbish.

The supermarket profits are going through the roof atm so they should fund a proper solution. When the book is written of the heroes and villains of COVID -19 the supermarkets are heading for the latter category
