I am hoping with every sinew that not only will our NHS cope with this crises, but that it convinces everyone that there is no better system.

That would be an opinion based on facts but sadly some negative attitudes towards the NHS are based purely on ideology.

I mean the concept of an NHS - not criticising it for operational failures. It would be just as ideologically stupid to think it was beyond reproach
