Michael Rosen in hospital

Missed this entirely. He used to go in to the children’s school to encourage reading and writing poetry. They thought he was wonderful.

Hope he is feeling better.

I read this update in one of my favourite emails "Five Good Things" which drops into my email box every Sunday, courtesy of The Tall Photographer.

[Michael Rosen's] now back on Twitter after 47 days in intensive care due to the coronavirus, and he's starting to learn to walk again.

BlueSky yes that story was utterly heartbreaking. It comes to my mind often and reduces me to tears every time.

Good news to hear Michael Rosen is out of ICU.

I hope Kate Garraway’s husband Derek Draper will soon follow in his foot steps. He also has been in ICU for 7 or 8 weeks due to Covid.

That’s sad about his son. Julia Donaldson lost a child also didn’t she? And they’ve brought so much joy to so many people.

You may know We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Basically he's a poetry, language and words man.

Didn't know him so I looked him up and tragically he's lost a 18 year old son to meningitis.
