Familiar anyone?

I often found a silver threepenny bit in mum's Christmas puds but never a pair of glasses

Or, as they say today lovebeige, “the proof is in the pudding”. Really?

I found this pic on twitter. I didn't bake it but wondered if any gran might have made such a spectacle of a cake.

I do find nowadays that when I lose my glasses they could be in the bin, in the freezer - outside in the peg box was a recent discovery - but so far I haven't managed to bake them.

turn it into bannofee cake .put a caramel sauce on it top with whipped cream and sliced banana .Its what Itaught my daughters girls when their banana bread didn't rise well ,mummy loved it .
