I have been happy, calm and productive all through lockdown.....until yesterday!

No repeat prescription at pharmacy, rules have changed so I have to call the surgery 39 minutes to be cut off.
Eventually after many attempts I got through, the surgery told me I was informed via a note in the prescription I was chasing!!!?

Then the internet went last night, 2 hours to reboot the system.

Today Hermes delivered my parcel to a totally random address but sent me a photo of my parcel in a strangers porch.
I have more chance of a conversation with the God Almighty than a person at Hermes.
Their robot doesn’t understand my voice. ( I think I speak well and clearly, no strong accent )

I have a splitting head and actually feel stressed.

Rant over.

You have my sympathy. I have spent hours on the phone with Boots online trying to get delivery sorted. Unusually my GP surgery have been excellent. Best to take a deep breath and sort one thing out at a time. You have also reminded me that I need to reorder the prescriptions. Give me strength!

Can you not order your prescriptions online my surgery does this and it’s worked seamlessly so far.

I've got a great online prescription service through the surgery who in turn send it to the local pharmacy who make it up then it's delivered through the letterbox. All within 48hrs and sooner sometimes.

Hermes are dreadful. My neighbour saw the van pull up, the driver got out and threw the package in the general direction of his front door.

Incidentally the package was for me, correctly addressed. Luckily it was a dress I had ordered so it wasn’t damaged.

I then had an email asking what I thought of the service.

I told them !

Spent 2 hours on and off this morning trying to get repeat prescription - engaged all the time. The repeat line is only open for those 2 hours each day. Only tomorrow left before I ruin out.

I downloaded the NHS app to my mobile, registered as a patient, and ordered my prescription on it with no bother at all.

Our local Hermes people are very good usually. Some of the other courier services aren't - DH watched one chap stop his van, get out, turn round once, get back in and drive away. He made no attempt to deliver our parcel or even to ask at any of the houses.

DH is about to request a repeat prescription. I dearly hope it goes smoothly!

Hope tomorrow is better Missfoodlove.

I ordered my repeat prescription online. It normally goes straight to Asda and I pick it up when I do my shop. I am not allowed to go out now so I phoned Asda pharmacy who said they would deliver. A lovely man phoned me and said he was outside with my prescription and had put it next to my duck ornaments. I opened the door and he was standing well away having a quack with the ducks!

Our local pharmacy re orders DH prescription and texts when ready since lockdown they appear to be every 3wks instead of 4.
