Trial by Media

The problem with pointing the finger at someone for wrongdoing is that you’d better be not doing something dodgy yourself.

As much as we dislike people breaking guidelines put in place to protect us (Cummings should have resigned or been sacked), we abhor hypocrisy even more. The teacher and the runner have made themselves look like complete plonkers!

If you're in the public eye you must be seen to be squeaky clean or you'll get this treatment. We must all abide by the rules. Politicians and their ilk always try to wriggle out of their responsibilities while telling others what to do.

Fortunately the media are able to ask the questions I would like the answers to, so they ask on my behalf.

Does that mitigate Cummings the liar and all round fraud?

It makes not an iota of difference, the British public were subjected to a pantomime never seen before of an assistant employed by the PM using the facility of No 10 to sit and lie to the public.

What you don’t seem to be able to grasp is that much can be forgiven, but WE WILL NOT BE TAKEN FOR FOOLS.

Apparently he made a 526 mile round trip to pick his daughter up when we were in lockdown

And the other idiot said he just made up the story about seeing DC a few days after as a 'joke'

Ian Blackford LIVES ON SKYE....you must have heard the "honorable dgentlemen of the Tory benches " telling him to Fuck off back to Skye ..several times.He went home ,he isolated for 14 days he worked on the lambing .....Surely even tory supporters must realise the MP for Skye lives on the island therefore going home was the right thing to do

They didn’t have Coronavirus Symptoms.

They didn’t travel the length of the Country.

It’s been trial by media for quite a long time now, but it’s stepped up a rung or two in the last year or so.

Perhaps no-one saw them? Cummings must have been unlucky, he wasn't sneaky enough.

Did they write a magazine article that gave a misleading impression of where they were?

Did they lie about their blog, making it sound more intelligent than they really are?

Did they go to work knowing they had been in close contact with someone with COVID symptoms?

Did they go to hospital when they suspected they werec infectious?

Trial by your peers as well, or at least your subordinates peer.
