Business secretary Alok Sharma has been tested for Covid-19 after feeling ill during Commons speech on Wednesday. He is now in self isolation at home.
I wonder if this will necessitate testing many MP’s who stood with him to vote. Many of them complained that it was impossible at times in the long queue to maintain 2m distance and they should have been allowed to vote from home.
It’s now being reported that Mr Sharma appeared unwell the previous day and appeared hoarse and sweating during his speech. But he still turned up for work on Wednesday.
