...who actually have, or had, Covid19? Not just people who say they’re ‘ sure they had it’, but definite cases. I only know of two, one who contracted it in hospital following admission for a broken hip, and another who died in a care home.

Please try not to drift ‘ off topic’, as I’m really interested to hear your answers to the question.

I know 2 people who caught it in April, both hospital NHS workers in their 50's, at 2 seperate hospitals. Neither were tested at the time which shocked me as I thought all NHS workers had been tested but both tested positive on the antibody test. Both recovered and back at work but still feeling v tired
We think we had it in Feb. DH was v poorly

In the email at the end it stated. Thst. I need to held accountable for. Me actions. And. They will be refusing our sons. Yo see me. The one. Daughter in law is very controlling when I seriously. Can’t do whst she wants. She does this. The other daughter I. Law. Likes to stir up trouble. I m so hurt. Whst can I do

None - although we suspect my GD might well have had it in January before all hell broke losose as she had classic symptoms. If she did then the rest of the family escaped unscathed.

None personally , though 2 in our extended church community both recovered, and an aunt of another acquaintance who went into hospitsl for an operation , contracted the virus and died aged 99.5. I am in the South East

Two ( tested positive as in healthcare ) . Married couple who are neighbours. Got it early and had mild symptoms

Rgirl Mon 22-Jun-20 10:17:29

4 My brother his uncle on his mums side my friend from school and an ex neighbours daughter. All tested positive and all sadly lost their lives. Ages: 3 in their 50s and 1 over 70. All in London

Three. Two are nurses. My son too Was quite ill but not hospitalised - he thinks he caught it from the children who had sore throats, fever and coughs. DIL soldiered on with lesser symptoms!

Debs551964 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:13:17

Two. Sister and her BF. Both recovered both fit and healthy which helped. But boy were they poorly.

pamdixon Mon 22-Jun-20 10:11:57

7 I think. None of them that badly, and none hospitalized, and all recovered thank goodness.
2 in their 60's
3 in their 40's
2 children
Quite a few friends had a long lasting vicious cough around xmas time, and they are now wondering if they had the virus then.

3 in my street. All under 70. A man of 56 was hospitalized the other 2 were able to stay at home. Happily he is still poorly but home and recovering now. The official death figure for my electoral area is 9. There are no care homes in this area.

I know someone who’s son’s partner tested positive, so the sone moved back in with his mum and sister. Needless to say, they all got it, and mum was more ill then the rest of them. I don’t know what she was thinking about!
Also my ex-boss, who had underlying health problems, died from the virus.

Harris27 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:09:42

Dee1012 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:08:56

I'm in the North East....two of my son's colleagues have recently died, both diagnosed.
I know of 2 people both quite fit and healthy who came down with it - one of them the partner of a nurse, thankfully recovered.
In my home area, the North West, 7 people....3 sadly died.

travelsafar Mon 22-Jun-20 10:07:46

My son's father in law died beginning of April sadly. He had underlying issues and was mixed race. I now have a good friend being tested, waiting to hear her results, so worried for her.

DaisyL Mon 22-Jun-20 10:06:58

3 - one in her 80s with dementia and many underlying health problems who died. The two others both survived and are doing OK both have underlying major health issues - one 87 the other 52 - and both caught it in hospital.

annab275 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:05:39

My step son had the symptoms in February - he is a NHS physio, but wasn't tested. He has been tested recently and has antibodies. My friend returned from Spain in March and was very ill a few days later and nearly died of pneumonia in hospital. She tested negative for the virus but had all the symptoms. Maybe it was a dodgy test.

Nannapat1 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:05:28

10, all early on:
DD1, her partner and his family. His grandmother died first day of lockdown in hospital, none of the others were hospitalised.
My niece and her husband, not hospitalised. Now tested positive for antibodies.
My DH's work colleague, not hospitalised but paid for a test.
All Essex or adjoining Greater London.

Rose30 Mon 22-Jun-20 10:03:56

None - I live in the South West and used to visit The Bath Royal United Hospital with my PAT dog. They have had around 100 Covid patients in total
so not severely affected at all.
I know of a few people indirectly - mostly friends of my children who are in their 30s. No deaths. I've "attended" 3 funerals during lockdown - all died of other causes aged 68-101.

Oopsminty Mon 22-Jun-20 10:02:52

My NHS niece tested positive but had very mild symptoms

We know two people who have died.

Husband's sister in law and a father of one of my son's friends.

Both got the virus whilst in hospital with other ailments

Craftycat Mon 22-Jun-20 10:02:18

None.
I have not even heard of anyone that friends or family know either.
