Happy Birthday NHS 72 years strong!

Will you go out to clap on Sunday 5th July to celebrate the NHS birthday? And will you put a light in your window on July 4th to remember all those who have died from Covid?

Me too. I was a year old when the NHS started so never knew how people had to pay to see a doctor. I remember my mum telling me she dreaded any of us getting ill.

We almost share a birthday as I will also be 72 but on the 6th Monday.

Not sure if I’ll go out to clap I’ll decide on the day.

I've lit a candle at 8pm every night in my window since the first deaths were reported so nothing new for me (I hate candles by the way)
