Just did an Ebay search and there are loads of pretty washable masks with nose wire and filter pocket! Wish I had looked harder, might still get some.

BlueSky, some washable masks have nose wires, which I think you remove for washing. I bought a pack of these which also include a filter pocket ( I have filters), but afraid they are not pretty. I did see some lovely Liberty William Morris print ones on Etsy, but none had nose wire and filter pocket.

I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work consistently. It’s been interesting driving on blue lights with glasses which suddenly steam up.?

Apparently visors are not so effective as masks, unfortunately.

Fairy liquid definitely damages glasses as my DH proved about one month ago. Luckily he has a couple of spare pairs but do be careful.

I saw them online, Jane, but was unsure. Please let us know how you get on.

I've ordered a visor. Hope it fits over my glasses

Sorry, Framilode, but I have just said upthread, opticians do not recommend smearing glasses with washing up liquid. It can damage the lens.

MY DIL is one and they are advising customers not to do this.

A drop of fairy liquid rubbed on and polished off both sides should keep them fog free.

Do all masks have wires? I know the disposable ones have, just wondering about the reusable pretty patterned cotton ones.

Just back. Putting mask under the bottom of my glasses helped. Snapping the string on the only mask I had with me didn't help!

I tightened my nose wire a bit too much yesterday and had to release it slightly. I find that if I have a little practice at home to see what is the best way to stop my glasses misting, I can manage to find the right position for both glasses and mask. It will vary from one glasses-wearer to another.

I'll give these suggestions a go when I go shopping today. So far it's been a big problem. I've ordered one of those full face visors. Fingers crossed shopping will become less of a lucky dip.

I find wearing my glasses quite low over the top of the mask works just fine.

Using a mask with a nose wire should keep it closer to the face.
.
My DD uses a strip of Micropore tape along the top of the mask, but it can't be good for the delicate skin beneath the eyes.
