Joyfulnanna
That is one thing ruled out, good.

I do think the virus has been around for longer than we think.
The only way to find out is an antibody test.

Dr John Campbell did a utube interview with someone who is suffering from long Covid. There is a Facebook support group that has (I think) 80,000 members. I’m afraid I can’t do a link.

Could you ask your GP for a blood test?
Breathlessness and fatigue could be symptoms of anaemia.

Did you have the antibodies test Joyful? Is it available on the NHS yet or did you have to have it done privately? Have you mentioned it to your GP?

You could still be suffering from the effects of Covid. Have you thought about having another test just to put your mind at rest?

You really should contact your GP. The ongoing symptoms you describe must be getting you down. I hope you begin to feel better again soonflowers.

In December 2019, I had a severe chest infection and bedridden with a temp for a week. Since then, I've been getting regular high temps, breathlessness, and fatigue. I don't feel refreshed after a night's sleep. Been working from home and trying to ignore the fact that my symptoms have been going on for months, all the while suspecting that it's covid related. Having said that, I never tested positive for it when I had a test in April, which suggests if I did have it in Dec last year, it's not active now. But the effects of the last eight months or so have made me wonder if something else is going on. I'm well past menopause btw. When I talked to my DH, he said my symptoms are caused by media hype and isolation from the workplace but I just don't believe that as I know how I feel physically. What do others think about Long Covid?
