Does anyone know if the rule of six includes children under 11?

If you google the government guidelines there is nothing stated about ages.

Yesterday they said that a family of 2 parents and 3 children could only see 1 grandparent.

6 means 6.

It depends where you are. In Scotland you can have 6 from 2 households but children of 11 and under don't count. In England children of all ages count, but I think they can come from more than 2 households. The rules in NI and Wales have not changed.

In certain areas of Scotland, we can have no-one at all in the house: Glasgow City, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire and West Dunbartonshire. Some of the most densely populated areas in Scotland. sad

It is really difficult to keep up with the changes.

In England 6 is 6 irrespective of age.

Erm, 6 friends at a pub----where there are dozens of others with 6 friends shock Insane.

Well, is that not because the recent rises are happening in houses and not in pubs? Responsible pub-owners (and yes, there are some, in spite of what we hear) are taking contact details and ensuring that there is distancing, whereas there are too many people who are having parties at home with no precautions.
