Covid positive Belgian doctors being sent back to work

This frankly alarms me , Belgium has one of the highest rates of infection, but is this really the answer?

Doctors in the Belgian city of Liège have been asked to keep working even if they have coronavirus amid a surge in cases and hospital admissions.
Now 10 hospitals have requested that staff who have tested positive but do not have symptoms keep working.

How can this not exacerbate an already alarming situation?

It seems two of the Grand Prix drivers tested positive over the weekend. I am guessing they aren’t elderly pensioners!

Maw I hadn’t seen this and I have to say it just depresses me- it just seems like there’s no hope doesn’t it??

All I can say is why? It’s obviously going to increase the spread. Apart from inside the hospital, the medics have to get to and from the hospital, therefore possibly infecting others on the way. No wonder Belgium has such a huge Covid problem.

It does sound rather desperate, somehow throwing in the towel.
