They are totally irresponsible.

Leave them to sort out their own messes, now and in the future.

I hope everyone they mingled with have been contacted.

There really is no chance of people not understanding what they should be doing to stop the spread of the virus.

Our governments have been telling us for months what we need to do but still, we hear/read daily of those who, need their life back. What sort of mindset doesn’t care that their actions are responsible for the disruption of a more, albeit, aware of the rules, normal life for everyone, one that stops killing people? Selfish bastards, who are thinking of no one but themselves!?

I think a lot of people just think that "it won't happen to me!" Someone actually said that to me the other day. When I asked "why not?" they said "Because things like that never do!"

Some of those who flouted the rules are going to be sorry, that's all I can say and in my more severe mode, deserve all they get for infecting innocent people.
The " bigger " they come, the harder they fall, they're not invinceable.
I'm annoyed and angry.

Many of us declined invitations in order to stay safe for ourselves and others-----and for what ?

I wonder how many of those who've died, acted foolishly ?
There were nigh-on 1,000 deaths yesterday alone !

I don't know why we are surprised really, another case of people thinking the rules don't apply to them.
Like a lot of others we haven't seen our families for over a year now and looks like it will be a lot longer yet so thank you to all those people knowingly spreading the virus,

Honestly, I usually sort things out for these two (they're both neighbours) but they can sort their own mess out.

I hope somebody's told the virus it's a Bank Holiday.

It's because so many people don't realise they're infected that we've been told not to invite people in for cuppas.

Most of the time, it probably would be OK, but in some parts of Essex there are now more than 1 in 50 people infected, which is high.

If people don't get they shouldn't be mixing inside by now, I guess they never will . 14 people and counting on Christmas Day is ridiculous, even for the lower tiers. I imagine there are going to be those who feel they just have to see the New Year in gathered with umpteen others come what may and sod everyone else

It’s so annoying we’ve not seen our children for ages and speak only on the phone. It’s heartbreaking.

I have told the person to sort out a test, pronto!!

She had phoned me for sympathy, then mentioned that the person was fine when she went round for a cuppa.

I didn't know she was doing these visits at all!
She is asking others to fetch in shopping etc, then gallavanting.

Sarnia, they're the ones who moan the loudest when someone dies, then have the cheek to blame others.

It beggars belief, doesn't it? Sadly, there are so many like your neighbour who are downright selfish, thinking only of their own pleasure and enjoyment whilst the majority of the population have to miss all the good times with family and friends. I suppose they are the first and the loudest to grumble when stricter measures are brought in. Did you say anything to her? Or rather anything printable on here

I wonder how many times this has happened ? And will continue to happen well into next year after tonight !!

What matters most, Christmas and New Year or your health ?

That was my first thought, grannygravy.
I don't think I have come into contact with anyone from the crowd, and I've not been letting my neighbour in.

Don’t know what to say, except we know this is going on. Our daughter lives in a flat in London with her husband, and they have been diligently following the rules, but she has single friends who just aren’t. I can’t see what else we can do..other than start policing the streets like they have in China apparently.

This is exactly why we in so much trouble with more to come in the coming weeks.

Blimey MissA our area stands no chance of getting the R down with inconsiderate selfish people like that.

I have no words to describe how I feel towards those sort of people my best friend of many years is back on one of the end of life Covid wards in the hospital near us. It is truly heartbreaking what the medical staff are experiencing each day.
