Exercising once a day?

I’m out walking in the woods for an hour by 8.0am, this gets me going and energised for the day. Home for breakfast then house jobs. Walk down to town for supplies, lunch then out hiking for 2 hours on the moors. I’m told that I’m insufferable if I don’t get at least this amount of exercise every day. I would be dreadful if I was told to isolate as I’m incapable of staying in the house for more than 2 hours let alone 2 weeks.

I think the once a day rule is to stop people forever going out and back, umpteen times a day.

A couple of shortish dog walks, or a longer one and a shortish one later doesn't sound unreasonable as long as you're not meeting up with dozens of people !! Another case for common sense.

Well, once a day could mean a walk lasting a few minutes, or a half day hike or long cycle ride.

I will carry on, but I don't understand the rationale behind the once a day rule. Also don't know what foreign nationals have got to do with it. Australia is a much more isolated country with far fewer entry points. We have boats (and a tunnel) as well as planes. We may not be in the EU any longer but we have constant trade and interaction with mainland Europe.

No problem, carry on.

The biggest problems are that foreign nationals are still flying into the country----are they all isolating for 2 weeks before mixing with the public ? I bet they're not !!

All flights should have stopped. What's going on ? Oz closed its borders, why didn't we ?

The more folks stay at home the less chance of passing on or catching Covid-19.

I think this is where common sense would come in to play!!

Can anyone explain to me why we are only allowed to exercise once a day. I take my dogs out twice a day locally (in a very rural area) and avoid other people. What is the problem with this?
