I am not able to revive the first post, sorry to repeat title.
Did I hear right on that people are being £6000 per day for advice on the trace system which, it seems doesn’t work but NHS has been given an increase for keeping people alive?

The justification for spending such a large amount of money on Dido Harding's track and trace system, including consultants on £6000 per day used to be that it was in order to prevent a second wave of the infection.
Now that we have had a second wave, I don't know what the new justification is.

Yep- when you are morally bankrupt as this government seems to be there is no compassion left in their cupboard. Don't even try to think they could see this because they can't.
