Discovering that my partner and I had become stuck in different countries and the likelihood of us being reunited anytime soon was quite remote. I busied myself with house renovation projects and she with sunshine and good food and wine. We realised that we were more resourceful than we thought and just got on with it.
The lockdown made me take a good look at my house and get stuck into everything that needed doing. I’m sure I wouldn’t have achieved this otherwise.

I was thinking how the first lockdown affected my life.I
was getting up early to have my grandson ,when my daughter rang and told me she was really worried about us so had decided that her and partner would manage childcare between them and they would do our shopping .That's when both of us burst out crying never realising how long this would last .
