I can't stop humming that Gracie Fields tune. Wish me Luck. My Grandpa used to love it

Hmm. Seems it’s not just the Daily Mail indulging in click bait here.

Maybe he will say, "Break a leg!" when the theatres and shows go back.

Oh crikey was it in relation to outdoor sports. Am back to watching junior football this weekend, we will definitely lose now.

Does he mean 'Good luck. You're on your own now. Survive or die in the name of herd immunity'?

From what I read he was addressing all those who would be enjoying outdoor sports again and wishing them luck
For some what ever he says it wont be right

At least he realises that we definitely need luck on our side with him in charge!

Luck may be a more reliable thing to rely on than Boris.

Better than hearing it from Micron?

Ellianne Sun 28-Mar-21 21:25:20

It either sounds like he's sending us off into battle or we've got to pass some kind of test!

This was the headlines on the online edition of The Mail this evening. I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Imagine sitting on a plane just before take off and the pilot after doing his usual welcome to flight...... says “ and the best of luck”. Don’t think you’d be filled with confidence. Sorry Boris but we are relying on you, the Goverment and the top medical and scientific advisers based on multitudes of statistics to have made the best decisions to ensure the.safety of the Nation. Now we’re depending on luck.? Please excuse me while I try to find my St Christopher and lucky four leaf clover. It beggars belief!
