Mine is quite fine, but it's now in awful condition with loads of split ends. I'm looking forward to not having it round my neck.

janeainsworth I wish I were that brave. I've been doing my fringe, with variable results. I explained that I looked like a witch when I made the appointment and the hairdresser was very nice about it.

I put mine into an old lady bun affair. It is soo much easier.

I usually have it in a Bob, but it is very very fine flyaway hair and it needs washing and doing every single day to look ok. So I tend to go around with it looking a mess. So the question is old lady bun against a mess.

I hate my hair!!!

Mine is two-tone - grey with the ends brassy blonde. Strangely, underneath is quite dark, so it's three-tone

I rocked that look until about 3 weeks ago growstuff. Then one day I was trimming my fringe and suddenly decided I was fed up with the orange bits and chopped them all off.
Like you I was pleasantly surprised that most of my hair is quite dark with the grey mainly confined to the front & I quite like it.
Unfortunately I can’t book an appointment to get it cut properly because my hairdresser is based in a department store in town & I have to wait till they re-open before I can book.
I’m not sure what he will say when he sees my DIY efforts blush

I won’t be going back to the hairdresser, I prefer my longer hair, my daughter trims the length and it now long enough to put up so that’s fine for me, I’m already grey so no dyeing either.
Apart from that being able to visit people again in the garden.

Mine is two-tone - grey with the ends brassy blonde. Strangely, underneath is quite dark, so it's three-tone. I've got this far, so I'm not going to bother dying it any more. It used to be a straight bob, but it's now half way down my back and I'm afraid the teenage look really doesn't suit me.

Well enjoy yourself!

I’ve got a hair appointment booked, now the question is shall I go grey and continue to grow it as it is so much easier - get in shower, wash hair, dry hair, put it up with big hair clip. Sooooo much easier. Not sure what to do with it if we go somewhere “out” that’s the trouble.

I've booked a haircut - the first one in over a year!

I'm going for a walk with somebody on Sunday and we're planning to have a picnic if the weather's nice. First time I've been with anybody face-to-face (apart from the GP and dentist) for more than a year.
